NEW TECHNOLOGY CAPABILITIES

South Dakota Mines has finished construction of the new Nucor Mineral Industries Building on campus. Through the support of the NSF Major Research Instrumentation Program (MRI), these new facilities will bring in a large number of new technology possibilities for the university, including the Nexia G2 Surface Analysis System, and the ThermoFisher Talos F200X G2 Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM).
